Abstract: The thioredoxin family is a group of new tumor-related proteins, which play an important role in proliferation and differentiation of neoplastic cells and may become one of the medicine targets for anti-cancer therapy. This review provides a summary of advances about the structure, function of thioredoxin and the relationship between thioredoxin and tumors.
