Abstract: Core binding factor α1(Cbfα1) has been identified as a key regulator of osteoblast differentiation and bone formation, a osteoblast-specific ranscription factor in osteoblast genesis and differentiation. Cbfα1 participates in the tissues remodeling during orthodontic tooth movement and plays an important role in the remodeling of periodontal tissue.

Key words: core binding factor α1, periodontal ligament cells, orthodontic tooth movement
