Abstract: Osteoarthrosis or osteochondral tissue destroy of mandibular condyle are common diseases clinically. Tissue engineering provides a new way and the revolutionary possibility for curing these diseases. Although characterization
of the mandibular condyle has been extensively studied, tissue engineering of the mandibular condyle is still in an early stage. This review focuses on advanced study relevant to cell sources, scaffolds, tissue engineering
regeneration and challenges for mandibular condyle tissue engineering
