Abstract: Dental erosion is defined as irreversible loss of dental hard tissue induced mainly by intrinsic and extrinsic acid not involving bacteria. The disease is prevalent among people. There is difficulty in clinical ocntrol of dental erosion which triggers increasing focus on the problem. In this article, we will make a review about the early diagnosis, risk assessment and prevention of dental erosion.
