Abstract: Tissue engineering is a promising way to repair tissue defect. The purpose of this review is to provide a summary of advances relevant to tissue engineering of temporomandibular joint condyle. This review consists of histology of condyle, seed cells, cell culture, scaffold, growth factors and bioreactors.
