Abstract:

1H- nuclear magnetic resonance (1H- NMR)based metabonomics and pattern recognition analysis(PRA)as an important component of global systems biology is a new emerging “omic”technology in recent years. The 1H- NMR spectra provides a wealth of metabolites information in biofluid, PRA can be used to reduce the large biological information and identified the characteristic metabolite from the complex data. This paper reviews approaches of 1H- NMR- based metabonomics commonly application for life sciences. It briefly introduces the technical flat- roof of metabonomic and the application in the fundamental biology, physiology, pathology, nutriology, and clinical diagnosis of disease.
