Abstract: The dentin sensitivity is a common clinical disease of stomatology and its pathogenesis is uncertain. The treatment of dentin sensitivity is based on closing dentin tubule completely or partially. The methods of desensitization
consist of：agent, laser, traditional Chinese drug, electric coagulation ion- introduction, matial filling, crown restoration etc. The review presents the advances in researching at present and further researching direction on the common desensitizers of dentinal sensitivity.
