Application of fixed functional appliance in tr eatment of class Ⅱ malocclusion<

Abstract: Fixed functional appliance is effective in the treatment of class Ⅱ malocclusion. For being fixed full time, fixed functional appliance acts on the teeth and jaws for every hour each day, so that patient co- operation is not a problem. As a result, the treatment time is short. The article reviewed several aspects of fixed functional appliance, which included its history, characteristic, indication, principle, relapse and retention.
