Research progress of salivary agglutinin

Abstract: Salivary agglutinin(SAG) is a kind of glycoprotein that can mediate bacterial aggregation or adhesion. More and more researches have focused on the interaction between SAG and bacteria recently. This review summarized
the research progress in thve biochemical characteristics of SAG and its pivotal role in the bacterial aggregation and adhesion.
