The progress in the diagnosis and treatment of panfacial fracture

Abstract: Panfacial fracture is definited as the fracture which happened in the middle and lower face at the same time. Jaw bones maintain the profile of face. If panfacial fracture happens, the profile of face will be destroyed and some systemic complications such as craniocerebral injury, organ injury and limb injury will appear sometimes. Therefore, panfacial fracture is always the focus of trauma surgeons. There still have been many disputes in the diagnosis and treatment of panfacial fracture. This article reviewed the dispute and progress in the
diagnosis and treatment of panfacial fracture.
