Abstract: Fiber post is widely used in clinic for it's good aesthetic and mechanical properties which has been proved by many studies. Furthermore, it′s good for conserving the dentin. However, few reports refers to it's longterm clinical effect. Coronal microleakage, which is the frequent cause for the failure of post and core restoration, has close relation to the long-term clinical effect of fiber post restoration. General studies about the coronal microleakage of fiber post will be discussed in this review.
