The role of Th17 cell in Sj魻gren’s syndrome pathogenesis

Abstract:

It has been characterized that Th17 cell and its related cytokines, such as IL-17, IL-6, IL-23 and IL-21, play important roles in anti-inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. They also are involved in the pathogenesis of Sj觟gren’s syndrome. The article summarized the current information on the functions of Th17 cell and its related cytokines, and the role of them in Sj觟gren’s syndrome pathogenesis.
