• Professor Chuanbin Guo graduated from School of Stomatology, Shanghai Second Medical University in 1985 and obtained Ph D degree in Beijing Medical University School of Stomatology in 1992. He now is Professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dean of School and Hospital of Stomatology Peking University. He is also Vice-president of Chinese Stomatology Association, Vice Director of Head and Neck Surgery Committee of China Anti-cancer Association, and one of the Board Directors of ADT (Advanced Digital Foundation) Foundation. He is member of editing board of ten medical journals.

    Professor Guo is engaged in clinical and laboratory study on oral and maxillofacial surgery and is highly experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of oral tumors and tumors in parapharyngeal space and infratemporal fossa and tumors involving the skull base. He had some innovative work like using sternocleidomastoid muscle-great auricular nerve flap to reconstruct the accessory nerve defects, designing a new surgical approach for handling tumors in the skull base and developing an automatic robot for assisting mandible reconstruction. His research interests are: Bifidobacterium Adolescentis as a delivery system for gene therapy of oral cancers and digital technique application in the management of head and neck surgery. Currently he is leading a team to develop two robot systems for cranial-maxillofacial surgery. He has 176 papers published, among them 58 published in international medical journals. His achievements in scientific and clinical studies were awarded eight times at different levels.
