Abstract: Tissue engineering is a subject which produces bio- succedaneum using the principle and method of engineering and life science to repair, to maintain and/or to improve the function of the organism. Temporomandibular joint is susceptive to tumor and other diseases, result in tissue defect but difficult to restore. Tissue engineering has being desired to deal with the puzzle.
