Abstract: Salivary glands mucosa- associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma(SGML) is a distinct subtype of marginal zone B- cell type non- Hodgkin′s lymphoma. The pathogenesis of SGML is different with the one of mucosa- associated
lymphoid tissue lymphoma of gastro- intestinal type. There are not particular clinical manifestations with SGML, then which easily results in misdiagnosis. This article was to overview the research progresses in etiology and diagnostics of salivary glands mucosa- associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma.
