Abstract: Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is a disease with high morbility. The relationship between the disease and the anatomical defects in the cranio- maxillo- facial region and cervical part is very intimate. X- ray cephalometric
architecture analysis with the soft tissue filtrating appliance is an effective way to diagnose and evaluate the disease. This paper is a review which summarizes X- ray cephalometric architecture analysis applied to evaluate the OSAS patients′anatomical defect.
