Abstract: The severe deformity, coloboma and absence of tongue caused by congenital or postnatal diseases are the common clinical problems. There are so many questions to repair the absence in routine methods at present and the effect is not satisfied. Medical scientists gradually looked forward to the tongue allotransplantation. In this article we reviewed the research progresses about the surgery techniques and immunosuppression of the immunologic
rejection of tongue allotransplantation.
