Abstract: The wide application of guided tissue regeneration(GTR) and guided bone regeneration(GBR) into the treatment of the periodontal osseous defects opens up spacious room for rebuilding periodontal tissue, while there
is certain limitation to the respective use of each. So, the present researches largely tend to apply bone graft, bioabsorbable membrane and growth factors into the treatment of periodontal osseous defects. The following passage
is a literature review elaborating on the physical and chemical nature of bioabsorbable membrane, bone graft and basic fibroblast growth factor, as well as the application of the three into the treatment of periodontal osseous defects.
