Abstract: Bruxism is a common oral parafunctional activity. It is generally defined as the activity of grinding or gnashing of the teeth at times other than during the mastication. The purpose of this article was to provide additional data relative to the study methods of bruxism, such as electroencephalogram, electromyogram, occlusal factors, craniomaxillofacial morphology and psychosocial factors.
