Diagnosis and differ entiation of the neur ilemoma of the jaws

Abstract: Neurilemoma of the jaws is a benign tumor that arises from neurilemma cells. It is uncommon and misdiagnosed frequently. To improve the diagnosis of the neurilemoma of the jaws, more characters should be known, including that of clinical, radiology, pathology, immunohistochemistry. This article is to overview the clinical characters of the neurilemoma of the jaws and its differentiations from ameloblastoma, neurofibroma and cyst of the jaws.
