Abstract: Ongoing investigations suggest dental pulp stem cells(DPSC) are progenitor cell population with high proliferative capacity, self- renewal property and multilineage differentiation potential, which are capable to differentiate
into several lineages under specific stimuli and drive tissue repair and regeneration. Therefore, the aim of this study is to summarize the biological characteristics, specific markers of DPSC and its application in tissue engineering.
