Abstract: Fibrous dysplasia of bone is a developmental disorder of bone that can present in a monostotic or polyostotic form, the etiology remains unclear. According to read all the available literatures on the subject, this article will review the aetiology and pathogenesis of fibrous dysplasia of bone through gene mutation, interleukine-6 mediation, abormality of chromosomes and morphology, developmental dysfunction of bone, stem cell disease and
other.
