Abstract: External tooth bleaching is a popular dental procedure in dentistry. It is highly concerned whether this system could lead to tooth hard tissue's change. This paper summarized the current knowledge about the influence of external tooth bleaching on the contents of mineral elements and the enamel surface morphology of tooth hard tissue.
