Abstract: The incidence of candidiasis is obviously ascending because of the wide use of immunodepressant and chemotherapeutics nowadays. Different strains of Candida albicans, are recently considered to have different pathogenicity, due to their properties of virulence. Like wise host innate and adaptive immune responses to these strains of Candida albicans also demonstrated the diversity in animal models. The research on immune responses to different strains of Candida albicans would play an important role on the development of antifungal vaccine.
