Abstract: Dental enamel is composed of hydroxyapatite crystals which arrange regularly. Demineralization of enamel could alternate the hydroxyapatite crystals in their morphology, structures and chemical composites. The developments of crystallographic study would be helpful to the studies of dental caries and dental materials. The review represents in recent years on the crystallographic study of dental enamel.
