Research Progress of undifferentiated proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells

Abstract: Mesenchymal stem cells are multipotent stem cells, and their multilineage potential holds extensive promise for clinical application. Undifferentiated proliferation means proliferation while maintaining multilineage potential. Nowadays, loss of proliferation potential and multineage potential is still a problem for mesenchymal stem cells while proliferating. Recent studies are focused on human blood serum, growth factor, extracellular matrix medium, bioreactor, traditional Chinese medicine, and so on. This paper reviewed the study progression of undifferentiated proliferation of mesenchymal stem cell from following aspects of significance, puzzlements and methods of undifferentiated proliferation of mesenchymal stem cell.
