摘要：

测量上下颌牙齿是否协调常用的经典方法是Bolton 指数法。同时, 临床中还应用Bolton 指数预测矫治后的关系。有关Bolton 指数的研究颇多, 但许多论点还存在争议。本文就 Bolton 指数的确定因素、导致Bolton 指数不调的原因以及Bolton 指数和Bolton 指数不调的临床应用作一综述。

关键词: Bolton指数, 牙量不调, 牙合关系

Abstract:

The Bolton index is usually used to measure the coordination of upper- lower teeth in orthodontic treatment. At the same time, the Bolton index is used to forecast the relation of occlusion after treatment. There are many disputed opinions on Bolton index between the scholars. The purpose of this article to summary the determining factors of Bolton index, the reasons of Bolton tooth - size discrepancy and clinical using of Bolton index and Bolton tooth- size discrepancy.
