Abstract:

Resin-based root canal sealers are a group of new types of root canal sealers. They allow better bonding ability, physicochemical properties and biocompatibility. But their sealing ability in root canals is imperfect due to polymerization shrinkage and degradation within hybrid layer. To test and evaluate the bonding durability of different contemporary endodontic sealers, sift sealers with good bonding durability will advance the success rate of root canal treatment.

Key words: resin-based sealer, bonding durability, bond strength, nanoleakage
